Sun-sang is the root word in Korean that is used as an honorific for teachers. It can also be used in other contexts towards someone offering help or explanations. I moved to South Korea after graduating college during the recession. What started off as 1 year soon became 10.

Once a poor college student, bikes became a fun hobby that introduced me to amazing people, a fun culture, and a way to get around. Collegiate and local cyclocross races were a great way to become introduced to the sport of racing in a very low-key relaxed setting.

A lot of mistakes, friends, and experiences were made since then. The beauty of cycling is being able to grow with the sport, the industry, and my community. There are always new things to be learned and a route ridden over and over is never the same route as before.
